FREE Pattern:Patti Girls Puppy Shaw

Patti-Girls Shaw#1 raindrops
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Bernat Softee Chunky: or any #5 Bulky weight yarn
(Pattern uses less than One 3.5 ounce -skein )
color used = grey heather
Crochet Hook: US J–6.0mm
Yarn needle.
Small amount of white satin ribbon.
Special Stiches:
Shell = (tr, *ch 2, tr* repeat *to* 4 times) all in same st
or sp.
Half Shell = (tr, *ch 2, tr* repeat *to *2 times) all in same
st or sp.
chain 32
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from
hook and each ch across; turn – 31 sc.
Row 2: Ch 3, skip first sc, dc in next sc and
in each sc across; turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, skip first dc, * 2 dc in next dc;
rep from * to last st; 2 dc in top of ch-3; turn– 61 sts.
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first dc, * ch 1, skip next 4
dc, shell in next dc, ch 1, skip next 4 dc, sc in
next dc; rep from * across working last sc in
top of ch-3 – 6 shells; turn.
Row 5: Ch 5, * skip sc, skip tr, dc in ch-2 sp,
[ch 3, sk next tr, sc in next tr, ch 3, skip next
tr, dc in next ch-2 sp **, ch 2; rep from * to
last sc, end at **; ch 1, tr in last sc; turn.
Row 6: Ch 6, (tr, ch 2, tr) all in first tr, * ch 1,
sc in next sc, ch 1 **, shell in ch-2 sp; rep
from * to beg ch-5 sp, end at **; half shell in
4th ch of ch-5; turn.
Row 7: Ch 1, sc in first tr, * ch 3, skip ch 2-sp,
dc in next ch-2 sp, ch 2, skip next 2 tr, dc in
next ch-2 sp, ch 3, skip next tr, sc in next tr;
rep from * across working last sc in 4th ch of
ch-6; turn.
Row 8: Ch 1, sc in first sc, ch 1, * shell in next
ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in next sc; rep from *
across; turn.
Rep Rows 5-8 once, fasten off and weave in ends.
thread ribbon thru needles and run thru open spaces on row.2.
Pati-girl is a toy poodle approx 10# she measures 15″ from neck to tail.
the shaw is 8 3/4″ long.
you could easily make this bigger or smaller by adding or removing (5 chain stitches).
This will ad or remove shell stitch pattern repeats to the rows.
To make longer just ad more repeats of rows 5-8.

color used = hot orange & med sea green
Crochet Hook: US J–6.0mm
Yarn needle.
Patti-girl is a toy poodle approx 10# she measures 15″ from neck to tail.
This pattern works from the bottom up.
with green chain 44
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, and in each ch across.
**change to orange when pulling up last loop**Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Sc in 1st st * Skip 2 sts. In the next st work (dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc, ch1, dc) = Shell. Skip 2 sts; sc in next st. Repeat from * across.
**change to green when pulling up last loop do not fasten off orange.
leave it hanging so you can pick back up next rond of orange.
Ch 3, turn.**
Row 3: * Ch2, sc in middle ch at top of shell. Ch 2, dc in next sc between shells. Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sc in each st across, including each ch st.
**break off green & pick up orange when pulling up last loop Ch1, turn.**
Row Repeat rows 2, 3, & 4 . 7 more times , ending with a row 3 green. Ch 1, turn.
decrease row: with green *sc in first stitch, decrease sc in next 2 chains,sc, sc in next 2 chains * repeat * * across.
**break off green & pick up orange when pulling up last loop Ch1, turn.**
pattern will begin to shift off center due to decrease.
Repet Row 2, break off orange. the rest of the patterns in done in green only.
change to green and Repeat Row 3 & 4 but end with ch4 turn do not break off.
skip 1st sc work dc decrease in 2nd & 3rd stitch, dc across to last 3 stitches, work dc decrease in next2 stitches dc in last stitch..
ch1 turn.
sc, chain 1 skip 1 stitch .sc in next across. ch1 turn..
sc around entire piece, (crochet over lose ends as you sc along sides.)
join with sl st fasten off.
belly strap ,
attaching green about midways down one side
sc in 5 stitches chain 3 turn.
skip turning stitch dc across, ch 3 turn
repeat for 3 more rows or length needed for your pet.
ch1 turn sc across. finish off.
neck strap: attaching green sc in stitches chain 2 turn.
skip turning stitch hdc across , ch 3 turn
skip turning stitch dc across, ch 1 turn
sc across fastern off.
attach button to opposite
edge from straps. using space between stitches on strpas for button holes.

ones i’d love to own finished product just not sure if i wanna tackle the project myself LOL

Ok this one I actually Purchased the pattern for. But it may be more than i can tackle myself ![]()
lots of assembly required and with my carpel tunnell I cant hand sew much at all ![]()
Anyone wanna make chaco for me??? LOL
